Another day gone - one less we have to wait I'm really glad to. Now that I know I'm coming home soon the time is really dragging.

I didn't do much today - went down to the Bn. to hear Major <NAME>Bennett</NAME> speak, and a few other officers - that took all morning so this afternoon I started looking over my new platoon - they seem like pretty good people. I have a srgt for a section leader and the platoon leader doesn't have anything to say so guess we'll get along alright.

May as well tell you about the set up here - don't have anything else to gab about. We are on the right flank of the Marine sector, and the British troops are on our right and have Korean and Turks on the left. The 1st Div is holding the only avenue of approach
